My DIY pamper routine

HAPPY WEDNESDAY!!

I don't know about you, but........ I HAVE HAD THE LONGEST, MOST STRESSFUL DAY I THINK I'VE HAD IN MY WHOLE LIFE!!!!! I had SO MUCH SCHOOL!!! The good thing is, I got SO MUCH DONE!! Which is relieving!!! I know that you have had a day like this at least once in your life, and you are completely stressed out. You don't have to worry anymore because I got your back! Today, I am going to show you my own personal DIY pamper night that I have weekly. AND! Hopefully, you will start to do these things too because they really help to relax you.

First I exfoliate. Exfoliating is exactly what EVERYONE needs right now! (no matter what type of skin they have) I like to make my own exfoliating scrub, (since this is a DIY pamper routine).

My favorite DIY exfoliating scrub is made with Lemons!!!

Recipe:Related image
1 cup WHITE sugar
1/4 cup coconut oil slightly melted (10 seconds)
Juice from 1/2 lemon
1/2 Tablespoon Olive oil                     USE THIS SCRUB ON FACE AND BODY
         ENJOY!

NOWWW......... For a hair mask, that is super healthy for your hair!! I use It weekly and it has helped my hair grow like crazy!!!! I hope you try it out sometime!!

As you can see above, these are the things you need for the hair mask. You may be thinking... "WHAT????? This person expects me to put this stuff in my hair and be okay with it??? That's gross"
But seriously..... This stuff helps....
Mix these ingredients together in a bowl, and apply to your regular hair. Leave it in your hair for 30 min, or more, ( the longer you leave it in, the better your hair will look) then hop in the shower! First thing you do is rinse this nasty stuff out of your hair, shampoo and condition like normal and that's it!
Side note, If you use the Egg, do not use hot water to rinse it out. I repeat, DO NOT RINSE YOUR HAIR OUT WITH HOT WATER!! IT WILL COOK THE EGG!!! One last thing, If you are a little uncomfortable with putting an egg in your hair, put 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.

Okay now for a face mask for healthy glowing skin!! That again..... I use alllllll the time!!!

This face mask has done wonders for my skin!!! I MUST ADMIT!!! It burns a little, but it has done wonders!!!! (It doesn't hurt that bad)
Ingredients:
Cinnamon.....
Honey.....

That's IT!!!! Please try it!!! Are you wondering why it's as good as I say it is??? Well, Cinnamon, Plumps skin, fights acne, fights wrinkles, Improves circulation, is a treatment for eczema,  Improves your complexion, and honey is full of antioxidants, so it is great for slowing down aging and it completely moisturizing and soothing, so it helps create a glow!!

Baths are necessary..... So have one of those. To make your bath extra relaxing and to also spice it up a little, add a bath bomb!!! I love bath bombs!!! If you buy them they are about $8.00  which is a good price. But if you want to make them, I have a recipe for youuuu!!!!!!

For this bath bomb, you will need,
1/2 cup Baking Soda
1/4 cup Citric Acid
1/4 cup Corn starch
1/4 cup Epsom salt
3-4 drops of Food coloring
Molds
3 teaspoons Castor oil
1 Tablespoon of an Essential oil of your choice
1 Tablespoon of water
Mix your dry ingredients together in a bowl, then mix your wet ingredients in a separate bowl. Then pour your wet ingredients a few drops at a time into your dry ingredients. Your mixture will start to clump which is good! Put your mixture into your mold and refrigerate over night or freeze for 30 minutes!

I love to drink a hot cup of cup of tea or coffee!! SO RELAXING!!!!!

NEW YEAR - NEW HAIR

Hello I'm BACK AGAIN!! Today's post is about Hairstyles you can do quickly when your in a rush (or even when you have time on your hands). So ANYWAYS!!!! I do these hairstyles frequently and I hope you enjoy.

I LOVE CURLING MY HAIR. I LOVE STRAIGHTENING MY HAIR. I LOVE CRIMPING MY HAIR. Basically I love applying some sort of heat to my hair. I have no clue why... I just do. One time I got to a point where my hair was split, dry, and just completely awful looking! You wanna know why??? yup.. YOU  GUESSED RIGHT MY FRIEND!! Heat. Soooooo....... I'm going to show you a way you can get perfect curls easily!! (without Heat) Basically all you want to do is put your hair in 2 french braids like the picture shown below.

You can do 2 french braids. You can do one straight back. You can do a fishtail, dutch, or three strand braids. Basically do any kind of braid you want to. Do your hair like this before you go to bed, and when you wake up, take it out and you will be left with beautiful waves/curls.
I love half up half down hairstyles!!! I do them all the time. You can do it with straight hair, curly hair, wavy hair, any hair will really do just fine Down below are examples of half up half downs.

These two hairstyles are really pretty. As you can see both of these are kind of wavy/curly. If you are willing to use heat, I would recommend a heat protectant. Some of my faves are below

Now for BUNS!! LOL! Buns are pretty much what I wear all the time! I don't think there is really an explanation of how to put your hair in a bun... BUT!!! DOWN BELOW IS MY FAVORITE BUN ON THE PLANET

The Last little hairstyle, we're going to take your basic pony, but we're going to GLAM it up a little!
Before you Put your actual hair up, take 2 small sections on the side of your head and twist, twist, twist, twist, twist, and twist again until you reach the end of your hair. then gather that small twisted section with the rest of your hair, and put it into a pony-tail
down below is what the end result should look like

I really hope ya'll enjoyed this weeks post!                      Faith

               My Costa Rica Experience
             AKA~ My First Missions Trip
My Costa Rica experience was one of the best yet. We have been planning this trip for over a year and took lots of time to prepare for.
We left Our House at about 11:30 am on October 10, 2016. My whole family was super exciting because we would all be in a different country together in the matter of hours!
When we got to the airport, we Checked in and gave them our bags. We waited for a few hours so we could board our first plane to Atlanta, Georgia. When we arrived in Atlanta, we hopped on the next plane to San Jose, Costa Rica! The plane ride there was four hours long, but went by very quickly. We watched movies, took pictures, ate food, and had a blast.
When we landed, we gathered our luggage and got picked up by a good friend who took us to dinner, and our hotel. We had a good nights rest from a long day of traveling  and went to sleep, waiting for the next day to arrive.
The next day came quickly. It was my first day in Costa Rica! We ate a great breakfast at our hotel. We got dressed and waiting to go to the Abraham Project, which is the name of the orphanage we worked at. There, we helped teach classes and do crafts. We played games and served food to the kids. We did lots of things and had a blast doing them. The classrooms were painted beautifully. Two gifted people painted each and every one. There were different themes for every room. There were Safari's beaches, Ski Slopes, Outer space, Glaxies and much more.
All week, we worked with another team that lives not far from us, here in Nashville. They were really fun and got to know them well. We played nine - sqaure, spikeball and soccer together, and with the little kids.
On Friday, we woke up to go to this place called La Carpio. Which is a little town, and the people there have less than the people at the Abraham project. We served them food and taught them a bible lesson, played games, danced, and gave them prizes. I realized how much I had and how I can be way too greedy sometimes. I'm not too thankful for the things I already have. Now that I realize I have the things I do, i'm a lot more thankful for my family, my house, and also my church.
Saturday Morning was a VERY exciting day!!! We woke up at 4:00 in the morning to go wait for a bus to pick us up. We rode the bus over an hour and forty-five minutes to get on a Catamaran to sail another hour. We ended up on an island in the Pacific Ocean. We ate lunch, took pictures, went snorkling, layed in hammoks, went on a banana boat ride and petted a wild pig that ran around the island. It was such a relaxing day and we had great family time.
Sunday we woke up to go to church. It was all in Spanish so I couldn't understand a word...... but if I understood Spanish, it probably would have been really good. After church we played Nine - Sqaure THE WHOLE DAY!!!!! I had sooo much fun. That night we had dinner, and my sister and I went to a bible study with the whole Youth on the other team. It was so good. They spoke the lesson and we had worship also. It put us all in great moods, but everyone was so sad because we all had to leave the next day. Nobody wanted to leave. We would stay in Costa Rica forever if we could.
The next day was Monday, the day we left. We hopped on another two planes home and arrived saftely.
I want to take a moment to thank my parents, and the Lord for letting me experience this. I met incredibe people, did incredible things. I learned so so much. Before I went on this trip I was very apprehensive about what I was about to experience; but this was just because i didn't know what to expect and I was a little scared. I'm SO HAPPY and THANKFUL in this moment!!!! I don't know who is reading this, but I urge you to open your eyes and look around!! You probably have a lot more than you realize. Never again will I complain about the Makeup I don't have, or the pair of earrings i'm dying to have. I love You Costa Rica........
                                                        Sincerely ~Faith
